Yes. Each plan covers a set number of children and devices — Core covers up to 2, and Family covers up to 6. Every child on your account shares the same subscription. If your family grows beyond your current plan's limit, upgrading takes effect immediately.
On Core and Family plans, your child's device stays locked until they complete their daily reading goal. Once the goal is met, their apps and entertainment unlock automatically. You set the goal — Read2Unlock handles the rest. Parents can override or re-lock at any time from the Parent Portal.
No. Read2Unlock does not show ads to children on any plan, including Free. There are no third-party ad networks, no behavioral targeting, and no promoted content inside the reading experience. The app is designed to be a focused, distraction-free environment.
